Here is a link with instructions and other info about sending a radiogram along with a "printer friendly version", I wonder how long this was in grandpa's shack? http://bclingan.org/mainpage_000004.htm
I believe my cousin W7TAO(KF7LX) did this design in the early '90s, then my grandpa W6TAO put the finishing touches on the bottom.
I was happy today to pickup all this cool heathkit gear! I know I didn't need any of it, but finding good homes for some of this stuff is most important. Not sure I'll let the tube tester go though.
So I found this SB-401, it is missing all the tubes, a few knobs and a few other things. I couldn't pass it up because I'm sure it has more than $15 worth of parts, and I figured N7IBG who has been working on the old heathkits lately might want to rebuild it. It seems to be missing a couple things I didn't notice when I first saw it, check out the pictures below! I hope it's not missing too much and it is able to go on air again... 73... KG7CUL
I picked this up from a estate sale company, they had a blowout to get rid of all the stuff they had in storage. This unit came from the silent key W5NYT. I paid $25. I'd have to say i'm pretty happy with the score. I might only have two HF transceivers and two HF antenna's, but maybe someday it'll fit better in my station. I couldn't pass it up! I got some other stuff today I'll try and share later. 73... KG7CUL
