The loop is up and working. I made some adjustments yesterday. It's now cut to 544', I have it fed with 80' of 450 ohm window line and the AH-3 tuner does all the work. I've noticed in the late morning signals from the Portland area are consistently two S units louder than my 75m dipole.
I have the window line connected to the tuner with anderson pole pole connectors, which makes for a quick disconnect. I used electric fence insulators to hold the wire to the rope. Using some pulley's it is easy to take up and down. It's windy today and it's staying up there. I was surprised how quick the 80' of window line went up in the tree. I have made a few 160m contacts so, Happy so far & we'll keep up the reports.
